Founded in 1859, Maison Louis Jadot is one of the most respected producers in France. For the most respected French wine guide, Bettane & Desseauve, "Jadot is certainly the most regular Maison in Burgundy in the last three decades."
For Robert Parker, who always awards high marks for both red and white wines, "Louis Jadot is probably the best-run house in Burgundy." Jadot is the only Maison of Burgundy nominated by Parker among the "Best Producers in the World" in his latest book - alongside the likes of De Vogué and Romanée Conti.
Corton Grand Cru is a powerful wine close in structure to the greatest red wines of the Côte de Nuits. The orientation of the vineyard allows the elaboration of a wine with sweet tannins and harmonious acidity.
The palate is medium-bodied with sweet supple tannin, well-judged acidity, harmonious in the mouth with a gentle but insistent grip on the silky smooth finish.
