Description:
With this wine, Johannes Leitz has proved which pioneer in German wines he is, and that he most likely champions this discipline, namely to make an alcohol-free wine that tastes like a real wine so as not to compromise the taste .
The history of wine making in the Leitz family goes back to 1744. Although, Johannes Leitz is internationally successful, he keeps himself deeply connected to his roots and his home land.
Tasting Note:
A crisp wine showing notes of lime and citrus fruit in the smell, as well as surprising notes of rhubarb, red apples and some mineralism.
In taste, it has a delicate ease and freshness.
The wine is made from grapes from its own vineyards and fermented at a cool temperature, then the wine is dekoholized with the latest technology. In a vacuum evaporator the wine is heated to 27 degrees, whereby the alcohol evaporates. The low boiling point means that the aromas of wine are preserved to the fullest enjoyment of the consumer.
