Kilbeggan Single Grain Whiskey

Kilbeggan Single Grain  is a stunning single grain Irish whiskey made from a blend of whiskeys from 6  to 16 years old.   A hugely enjoyable whiskey, with plenty of honey, vanilla, tropical fruit, almond and spiced oak notes.

Kilbeggan is a uniquely Irish Whiskey. Like most Irish people, Kilbeggan is easy going and approachable, but with its own distinctive style. The finest grain and malt whiskeys are blended together for a smooth, sweet taste and lovely malt finish, a characteristic of the 180 year old pot still that is at the heart of Kilbeggan Irish whiskey.

Nose: Soft, sweet corn, smooth vanilla before spicy oak comes in. Delicious hints of bourbon.

Palate: Rich, soft oils, melt-in-the-mouth grain and just a hint of barley for good measure. Crisp finish as the oak returns.

Finish: Long with maple and pecan, milk chocolate and a hint of salinity.
