Chateau des Moulins a Vent ‘Heritage’ Graves Blanc offers tremendous value from a region whose white wines have been overlooked for far too long. It is a beautifully textured wine from the four months oak aging, but also offers amazing aromatics, rich citrus fruit, tropical notes and wonderful mineral freshness. It is a wonderfully sophisticated yet inexpensive choice and an absolute joy to drink. The wine is made from a blend of 60% Semillon and 40% Sauvignon Blanc.

Chateau des Moulins a Vent is owned by Pierre Tourre and has changed names more times than I care to remember. It was previously known as Chateau Courbin Heritage as I believe it was in dispute with a Beaujolais producer over the name. Small scale and fantastic attention to detail, this is a cracking Chateau that make top quality wines at affordable prices.
