Domaine De Montine - St Joseph Single Bottle

The Montine estate has been a family property of the Monteillet brothers for 3 generations. The property is located on the site of one of the farms of the castle of Grignan which belonged to the family of Madame la Marquise de Sévigné in the Southern Rhône Valley in the town of Grignan.

The granite soil of the Saint-Joseph appellation brings a lovely freshness to this wine with a full-bodied ensemble. 

Tasting notes: Lively ruby red color. Intense aromatics of red raspberry and licorice. Allow it to breathe for 15 minutes and it will reward you with raspberry, cherry, tobacco and orange peel flavors on a body that is medium in weight with soft tannins. Really lovely and complex, with a good degree of finesse

Food Suggestion: Perfect with a rib of beef with mashed potatoes and olive oil, or roasted lamb.
