Clos Puy Arnaud has a history that dates back to at least 1871 in the Cotes de Castillon region. However, the modern era for the estate begins in the year 2000 when Thierry Valette purchased the estate. If the Valette names sounds famillar, it should. Thierry Valette is related to the Valette family that also own Chateau Troplong Mondot and previously, Chateau Pavie
Ageing Potential: 10-15 Years
An excellent Bordeaux with great aging potential if you're patient, however it's drinking well today in its youth. The tannic structure is well-balanced with the black fruit aromas. Aged in barrique and meant for the cellar, but you can always decant and enjoy tonight.
Food Suggestion: Beef, Pork, Lamb, Roast Chicken, Asian Dishes
