Château La Fleur Cravignac is a family property located on the northwest side, one kilometer from the small medieval city of Saint-Emilion. It covers an Just under eight hectares of vines grown on clay and limestone soils characteristic of Saint-Emilion. Its vineyards are composed 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.
This wine won a Gold Medal in Paris is 2012. The aim of this chateau is to search for the best possible expression of St Emilion's extraordinary soil, which produces perfectly balanced wines with a finesse and complexity that only nature can create.
Tasting Note:
The cabernet grape provides great structure and framework for the wine allowing it to be laid down for a period of time while maintaining its complexity during the ageing process. Merlot gives wonderful roundness and charm, and the Cabernet Franc, which comes from the estates oldest parcel of vines, adds complexity, finesse and character. These three grape varieties are the distinctive signs of this delicious wine.
