How much caffeine is in BLA Sparkling Tea?

BLA Sparkling Tea contains 18.5 mg of caffeine per 5 oz serving, as its unique blend consists of white and green teas, which have a lower caffeine content than other types of tea.

How long does sparkling tea last?

Copenhagen sparkling teas have a shelf life of 2 years from production. However, once a bottle is opened, we recommend finishing its contents within a few hours before the bubbles disappear.

What does Copenhagen Sparkling Tea BLA taste like?

The first things you’ll taste when you sip Sparkling Tea BLA are delicate aromas of jasmine, chamomile and a hint of citrus, followed by honeyed guava and ripe pears. This ends in a long finish created by the Darjeeling First Flush, a highly exclusive tea variety used in BLA’s production.

How do you serve Copenhagen Sparkling Tea BLA?

Like sparkling wine, sparkling teas are best served chilled, ideally at a temperature of five to seven degrees Celsius. This ensures a refreshing experience while preventing excessive pressure when opening the cork.

There are two ways to serve Copenhagen Sparkling Tea BLA: in a champagne glass as an aperitif, or in a white wine glass as a food pairing so that your nose and palate can experience more tantalising aromas as you sip.

Food pairing

The white and green teas used in BLA Sparkling Tea pair well with light dishes such as white fish, chicken or vegetarian dishes. However, BLA also works well as a champagne substitute since its bubbles help cleanse the palate, so fatty meats or oily dishes are also suitable pairings.

What can you mix with Copenhagen Sparkling Tea?

In fact, the Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Company created a cocktail menu which consists of one alcoholic BLA cocktail and a non-alcoholic one.

Alcoholic cocktail

The Apiarist puts a sparkling twist on the Bee’s Knees cocktail from the 1920s. Ingredients include:

  • 50 ml of London Dry Gin
  • 20 ml of lemon juice
  • 10 ml of honey syrup
  • Top with Sparkling Tea BLÅ

To make honey syrup, mix 3 parts honey with 1 part hot water until everything is dissolved. Once you mix all the ingredients listed above, top it all off with Sparkling Tea BLA.

Non-alcoholic cocktail

Not Your Garden Variety cocktail is made with:

  • 50 ml of Seedlip Garden 108
  • 20 ml of lemon juice
  • 10 ml of clementine syrup
  • Top with Sparkling Tea BLÅ

To make the clementine syrup, dissolve 200g of sugar with 200g of hot water before adding the peels of 4 clementine oranges. After that, leave the mixture to infuse for 24 hours before straining and bottling the resulting syrup. Mixing all three listed ingredients will create an alcohol-free cocktail that uses Sparkling Tea BLA for its finishing touch.
