Distilled with care at The Shed Distillery, this exceptional 7-year-old Irish Whiskey is triple-distilled using malted and unmalted Irish barley and unique Irish Barra oats. Maturing in exquisite Tawny Port casks since 2018, a distinctive character and depth of taste has gradually evolved over the last 7 years, perfected under the guidance of Head Distiller Brian Taft.
Tasting notes:
Nose: A warm aroma of almonds & walnuts with deeper undernotes of red fruit and toffee.
Palate: Ripe summer cherries, apricots and creme brulee swirl with subtle pot spice. The delectable tawny port flows deliciously in the background from the very first sip.
Finish: Lingering pot spices descend with the subtle sweetness of nougat and candied fruits, balanced by a creamy velvet mouthfeel.
