Chablis is a dry, minerally white wine from northern Burgundy, France, made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes. Its distinct style is shaped by the region's cool, continental climate and Kimmeridgian marl and limestone soils containing fossilized oysters. 

Domaine de la Motte is the story of the Michaut family. Since 1960, three generations of winemakers have successfully produced these Chablis wines, which express the magnificent symbiosis of the terroirs and the Chardonnay grape variety. Today, Adrien Michaut works with rigor and passion, but he is also constantly seeking to awaken the senses and create wines that express the spirit of the Domaine: pure, dynamic, and authentic.

Lots of lovely ripe peach and apricot aromas, caramelized apples and hot stones on the nose. Followed by generous, pronounced fruit on the palate with nectarine skins and baked peaches balanced firmly by a rounded, lemon-flesh acidity.
