This was awarded the Best Cava in Spain by Master of Wine Tim Atkin. Mireia Tetas is the third generation of the Tetas family at Bodegas Pinord in Penedès, a winery with more than 150 years of winemaking tradition. She works on the strategic, export, and development side of the winery while helping guide the direction of its wines and sparkling production. 
She represents a new generation that blends the knowledge of historic cava production with modern ideas about sustainability and global markets, helping the winery evolve while staying rooted in tradition.

Vini Fantini, Farnese Montepulciano d’Abruzzo
Abruzzo, Italy
Winemaker: Alessai Sciotti
Produced with organic certification at a second-generation winery where Alessia Sciotti and her sister oversee winemaking, exports and winery hospitality. This is beautifully made Montepulciano, with ripe and rich dark cherry and plum aromas, mocha oak notes and dense chalky tannins finishing with juicy cassis lift.

Heidi Schrock & Sohne `Rusterberg` Zweigelt
Burgenland, Austria
Winemaker: Heidi Schrok
Heidi Schröck is a pioneer in the Austrian wine scene. Voted ‘Vintner of the Year’ by food and wine magazine Falstaff, Heidi leads an organisation dedicated to promoting female winemakers. As a result of her work, the number of women working in the Austrian wine industry has increased considerably in recent years.

The Zweigelt Rusterberg comes from two small vineyard plots on the Ruster Berg, the hills surrounding the famous village of Rust. The vineyards ‘Kraxner’ and ‘Ruster’ are east facing, with a gentle slope towards the Lake Neusiedel. The soil is sandy loam with mica schist and gneiss. The site is managed sustainably, without the use of herbicides or insecticides and the growth of local plants as cover crop is encouraged.
The wine is dark ruby red in colour, with aromas of red berries and hints of liquorice. The palate has a juicy core of strawberry and blackberry with ripe, velvety tannins

Yalumba GEN Organic Sauvignon Blanc combines fresh, vibrant flavour with serious sustainability, all guided by the philosophy of one of Australia’s most respected winemakers, Louisa Rose.This wine is bright and expressive, with aromas of lime zest, passionfruit, gooseberry, and fresh herbs, followed by a crisp palate with lively acidity and a clean mineral finish. The style is refreshing and energetic—exactly what you want from Sauvignon Blanc—while still having a little texture and length.

Joseph Drouhin Beaujolais Villages

Joseph Drouhin Beaujolais-Villages is a standout example of the region because it combines classic Gamay character, careful vineyard sourcing, and the winemaking expertise of Véronique Drouhin, who oversees the style and quality of the wines. The result is a wine that is approachable yet refined—light to medium-bodied, bursting with fresh red fruit, and incredibly versatile at the table. It’s a perfect introduction to Beaujolais and a great example of how careful winemaking can elevate a regional wine. In short: Joseph Drouhin Beaujolais-Villages is great because it delivers pure Gamay fruit, Burgundian elegance, and the precise touch of Véronique Drouhin, creating a wine that is vibrant, balanced, and unmistakably Beaujolais.

Since 2010, Mireia Torres has directed the Jean Leon winery, bringing a strong emphasis on research, sustainability, and expressing local terroir. Under her leadership, the estate focuses on wines that highlight native grapes and the uniqueness of Penedès, reinforcing the winery’s identity and pushing innovation in the vineyard and cellar.J
