This Giné Giné 2019 from winery Buil & Giné is a blend of 50% Grenache and 50% Carignan sourced from 20-40 year old vines from the districts of Bellmunt, Gratallops, La Vilella Baixa, El Molar, La Vilella Alta, El Lloar and Torroja.

Wine & Spirits Magazine gave the 2018 'Giné Giné' a score of 95 points and in the process also included it in the 'Top 100 Values of the Year' and awarded it as 'Best Buy 2021'. 

Giné Giné is the first wine made by and named after the Duo Buil i Giné. Here they seek a pure expression of Priorat wine with the two indigenous varieties Garnatxa and Carinyena. No barrel aging or over extraction, just pure expression of the terroir.


Tasting Notes:

A wine of great versatility due to its rich aromatic expression. As so, it combines very well with different kinds of food and dishes with an interplay of floral touches, aromatic herbs, pepper, anise or cinnamon, balsamic, toasted or pastry touches.

Food Suggestion:

A fantastic food wine this will pair well with rich hearty food; roasted meats, white truffle pasta, or charcuterie tapas.
