Les Caves de la Loire is certified AgriConfiance et Démarche Vignerons En Développement Durable. Vignerons Développement Durable was formed specifically for the wine industry with the target to be sustainable in the entire wine production process: viticulture, winemaking and employment.
Les Caves de la Loire's Sauvignon Blanc 'Wally' is zesty with lively acidity, hints of passionfruit and gooseberry with great balance and a clean finish. New to our list this year is the Wally Chenin Blanc. Like the Sauvignon Blanc, it has great purity of fruit with hints of white flowers. Due to the ripeness of the vintage, it is rich but refreshing thanks
to the crisp acidity."

The grapes were sourced from the Anjou area in the Loire Valley, just south of the city of Angers. The vineyards are planted on Sologne clay.
The grapes are pressed using a pneumatic press. After 10 hours, the must is racked and is left on its fine lees at 8°C. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 16°C where afterwards, it matures in tanks at 12°C.
This Chenin Blanc offers fresh peach and citrus fruit coupled with fresh hazelnut notes on the nose. On the palate it is bright and has a lovely texture with a moreish finish.
Couples well with seafood, smoked salmon, poultry and cheeses.
