Château Fieuzal has a history dating back four centuries and is one of the jewels of the Graves wine region. Now owned by Irish man, Lochlann Quinn, their esteemed wines were ranked among the Crus Classés for red wine in the 1953 & 1959 Classification of Graves wines.
The excellent 2015 vintage offers dark, tight-knit fruits with fine structure from the grippy tannins. The acidity keeps the wine fresh and clean before the long elegant finish. If well-cellared this wine will age gracefully over many years.

"Garnet-red colour. Plenty of fruit on the nose of this Fieuzal! I detect delicate notes of blueberries and a hint of chocolate. With aeration, notes of mint and raspberries add to the complexity of the bouquet. On the palate, the wine shows a beautiful harmony of sweetness, fruit, freshness, and expression. The tannins are well integrated, and the structure supports the wine’s aromatic character on the palate. A very complete, accomplished, and truly seductive wine! Bravo"

"The 2015 de Fieuzal has a very seductive bouquet, almost Saint Emilion in style (perhaps the hand of consultant Hubert de Boüard at play?). I mean that in a positive sense: it is extremely pure and sensual, an aromatic femme fatale. The palate is ripe and generous on the entry, but simultaneously poised and minerally, almost edgy towards the sustained and focused finish. There is wonderful freshness and vitality here, yet another really quite stupendous Pessac-Léognan that is going to be a joy to drink over the next 20-25 years."

The 2015 de Fieuzal is medium to deep garnet in colour and features a wonderfully perfumed nose of dried roses, kirsch, and clove oil leading to a cassis and cigar box core. Medium to full-bodied, the palate delivers a generous amount of black fruits with plush tannins and a fragrant finish.
