Tenuta di Carleone is an organic winery in Radda in Chianti, founded in 2012 by Karl Egger and Sean O'Callaghan. They produce pure, elegant, and vibrant Sangiovese-based Chianti Classico wines from their 100-hectare estate, which features 20 hectares of vineyards and 10 hectares of olive trees. The winemaking process emphasizes a unique, non-wood approach, using cement and stainless steel for fermentation and maturation, resulting in a "modern take" on Chianti Classico known for its purity, tension, and finesse.
