Chateau Saint Pierre, Pomerol, France

Château Saint-Pierre is a family-owned estate owned and operated today by axel Pradel de Levaux. located in the neighbouring appellation of Lalande-de-Pomerol, just north of the famous Pomerol plateau on Bordeaux's Right Bank. The vineyard benefits from gravel and clay soils that are particularly well suited to Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc. These conditions produce wines that combine generous ripe fruit with elegance, soft tannins, and the ability to age gracefully.

The estate is run with a strong commitment to traditional Bordeaux winemaking, combining careful vineyard management with modern cellar techniques to express the character of its terroir. The wines are typically rich in aromas of black cherry, plum, blackberry, and subtle spice, with a velvety texture and balanced freshness. They offer much of the charm and approachability associated with the Pomerol area while representing excellent value compared with many of their more famous neighbours
