Description:

Founded in 1860 by Monsieur Regnard, Maison Régnard is one of the oldest and most respected Maisons of Burgundy. The Baron Patrick de Ladoucette took over the Domaine in 1984 and continues to preserve the wine whilst improving the style and the typicity. In 1992, Grand Régnard was created.

Developed from the best plots of Maison Regnard in Chablis, Chablis Grand Regnard is presented in a collection bottle dating from the 18th century. Sourced from only the best parcels of land in the Region.

A classic Chablis colour, bright, pale-straw accented with green.

On the nose it is elegant and fresh with notes of green apples, lemon and apricot.

On the palate it is rich, rounded and mellow with notes of lemon, white peach, a long finish and balanced acidity.

“More open again, clean and mineral with a little inviting energy too. Larger scale, certainly not a direct wine to start, but one with a lot of minerality. Lovely texture and volume here – again with a peak of finishing flavour that’s full of salinity – simply excellent Chablis too!”
