The estate

Located at the gates of Pauillac, the Chateau Lynch Bages is a property that has marked the history of the Médoc. If the Bages terroir has been known since the 16th century, it gained fame in the 18th century. Led by the son of an Irish citizen named Thomas Lynch, the Bages cru was recognized at the Paris Universal Exhibition. Entered into the fold of the J-M Cazes family on the eve of the Second World War, Château Lynch-Bages is one of the most beautiful references of the Pauillac appellation.

The vineyard

The Blanc de Lynch-Bages is a dry whiite wine from a 7-hectare terroir planted on a Garonne gravel soil.

The vintage

A mild winter gives way to a spring marked by significant sanitary pressure contained thanks to the reactivity of the teams. The summer heat promotes the progressive maturation of the grapes dedicated to this cuvée until the harvest.

Vinification and ageing

Manual harvest with sorting in the vineyard and on the table. The ageing is for a period of 6 months in barrels (50% new wood), on lees.
