Description:

Familiar winery founded by José Castro Brey and Isabel Pereiro Becerra in 1983. Currently, it is the third generation family tradition that combines the artisanal production and the most advanced cold maceration and controlled fermentation techniques in stainless steel tanks.

Adegas Castro Brey is located in the Ulla Subarea, which is in the Rías Baixas region of Galicia. This mountainous area has many influences from the Atlantic Ocean. The 9 hectares of vineyards are about 100 meters above sea level. The terroir consists mainly of granite, quartz and clay and is strongly ferruginous.

Bodegas Castro Brey mainly focuses on growing the Albariño grape, which thrives in this area due to the cool maritime climate and soil conditions. The Albariño grape is known for its freshness, liveliness and characteristic aromas.

Tasting Note: Sin Palabras is straw yellow in colour and clean in appearance. Fine and intense on the nose, with hints of white fruit (apricot and peach) and nice herb notes. On the palate this Spanish white is silky with a well-integrated acidity and long lingering finish.
