Description: This is a wine that is almost in its top form, clearly on the ascending slope, therefore several months of bottle ageing has done it just fine. Its ripe tannins and mouth-watering acidity makes it an ideal pairing partner for any spicy or flavored meat dishes. We would recommend to try this wine alongside some spicy veal chops or a classic Italian or Argentine cold cuts board as the latter one is a perfect pairing indeed. Enjoy.
Ageing Potential: 10 Years
The nose is strong, filled mostly with blue fruits: sour cherry, dried cherry, blue plum, blackberry, blueberry, black currant and some hints of overripe black raspberry. An instant later comes secondary and tertiary notes of red and black pepper, nutmeg, leather, oakwood and some subtle hints of forest floor and raw veal meat.
Food Matches: Roasted red meats, ripe cheese or also stands beautifully on its own
