Mc Guigan Reserve Shiraz
Hunter Valley, Australia
2 x 75cl Bottles
Shiraz grapes are carefully harvested at the moment of optimum ripeness before undergoing pressing to extract all the juice. The must then spends an extended period of time on its skins and temperature controlled fermentation to extract the maximum fruit freshness from the grapes. After fermentation, 80% of the wine spends 3 months in French oak, before blending with the unoaked wine and bottling. The result is a great value bottle of red wine full of black plums, damsons, blackberry and licorice flavours with a touch of vanilla spice on the finish.
