2 x Chateau Tour Bel Air 2015
Montagne Saint Emilion
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot
One of the 44 Crus Artisans in Medoc. This distinction corresponds to wines that come from small-size exploitation where the farmers participate in all the various works concerning the vineyard and the wine.
50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet-Sauvigon. On average, the vine is 35 years-old. The older plots of land are 50 years-old, the most recent ones are 10 years-old. The plantation density is homogeneous and approaches 7500 vines per hectare.
The property extends over 7, 8 hectares of vine, divided into 5 plots of land. They are well-grouped together and very accessible from the centre of the exploitation. The two thirds of the plots of land are located in zone of clayey soil, which represents a soil of high quality; the last third on sandier soils, that are lights.

The colour is beautifully intense. The nose opens with spicy, very harmonious notes of peanut. The attack is supple in the mouth, accompanied with fine tannins that give a most interesting sweetness. The long finish ends on a harmonious note of ripe fruit and wood.

Deep ruby red wine with shallow garnet rim. Pronounced bouquet of stewed jammy fruits with leather and mineral tones. Warm and rich on the palate with firm tannin structure but not aggressive. 2 x Chateau Roc de Levraut Bordeaux Superieur 2015
Chateau Roc de Levraut - Remy Ballerin
Merlot 70%, Cabernet Sauvignon 30%
*** Gold Medal Concours des Grandes Vins de France *** Château Roc de Levraut is situated in Sauveterre de Guyenne, has been run by the same family for 3 generations. Today it is managed by Rémi Ballardin who made a strategic choice: to respect the vineyards as well as the wines by preferring low-yielding clusters of grapes, in order that quality reaches its peak potential. Remy decided to cultivate the lands with methods that protect the environment as well and many of the practices are Biodynamic at the estate today. The estate is located in the Entre-Deux-Mers, an area between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, in the south of Bordeaux. Château Roc de Levraut receives its name from the enormous boulders that are scattered through the area of rolling hills composed of clay and limestone soils.
The Wine is from the 2015 vintage and it is concentrated and spicy, full of generous tannins and delicious black plum fruits. There is an opulent texture and the wine is drinking well now, but will age comfortably for the next 5 to 7 years. Expect a real fruit driven style, with toasty flavours and generous spice. There is a refreshing acidity which cuts the wine – Enjoy this one with or without food.
The blend is as follows: 50% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. This vintage is 2015 and it is a Classic structured style that shows red and black fruit, a touch of cassis, that mixture of dark berry and sage-like herbal musk so prevalent in Bordeaux reds, and a lovely plump blueberry from the Cabernet Franc. The tannins are noticeable, but don’t dominate the wine, suggesting instead that there will likely be five to seven years of aging capacity here.

Chateau l'Euziere - Syrah / Grenache

2 x Joseph Drouhin Fleurie
Site: between Moulin-à-Vent and Chiroubles, Fleurie is certainly one of the most celebrated of the ten Crus of Beaujolais; the vineyard is planted on a slope below the main ridge of hills and is oriented south-east, north-west.
History & Tradition: at the foot of the Chapel of the Black Virgin. The "Gobelet" pruning probably goes back to the Greek or Roman period.
Soil: pink granite, thin and acidic.
Tasting note by Véronique Boss-Drouhin
"Fleurie is certainly worthy of its name! It possesses great charm and delicacy, with its luminous raspberry color, aromas of lilac, violet and gooseberry. Very supple and silky in the mouth. Leaves a beautiful impression of fine aromas. It is the most delicate of the Beaujolais Crus".
