There is a central plot known as the Enclos which consists of 47 hectares of old vines that are maintained with extreme care, as they are the ones that are used to make the grand vin. Another 18 hectares of external plots, consisting of vines that are less than ten years-old and potentially declassified plots are used to produce the property's second wine, Les Forts de Latour. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eLatour's wines show exemplary consistency, whatever the quality of the vintage.
