Jim Beam Devil’s Cut, is a premium bourbon with depth and complexity that comes from liquid extracted from inside the barrel wood. A devilish twist, blending their 6 year old whiskey with spirit extracted from the wood of the cask itself, where it's soaked in over the years of maturation. This gives a robust and hefty bourbon with a nice added chunk of woody richness.
Jim Beam was founded in 1795 and has been operated by one family for seven generations. Creating bourbon their way, aging it twice as long as the law requires. 220 years of experience goes into every bottle. Along with corn, rye, malted barley, water, time, pride, and of course, true passion.
Nose: Immensely woody, fresh cut oak and a whole heap of vanilla and wood spice.
Palate: The American oak vanilla remains powerful with a rich woodiness joining it.
Finish: Still oaky, the finish is reasonably long with a pinch of spice scattered on top of persistent vanilla flavours.
