Delivered in a six bottle box each case contains:
2 x Doran Vineyards Chenin Blanc
Fleshy white pear upfront followed by dried peaches finishing with lingering tastes of roasted almonds and honey.
This is the first vintage of this Chenin Blanc from 30 year old bush vines by Irish man Edwin Doran in partnership with the legendary Andre Badenhorst - a beautiful example of a South African Chenin blanc, very balanced & restrained with rich tropical fruits, honeyed apple. An elegant food wine.
2 x Doran Vineyards Shiraz
Deep concentration of red plums and blackberries with spicy undertones. This is followed by the fresh fragrance of blue violets, juicy tannis and leaves your mouth watering for more.
Rhone style syrah from the Voor Paardeberg showing vibrant dark summer fruit character with great purity and freshness and nice spice. Very elegant and balanced.
2 x Doran Vineyards Pinotage
Vibrant aromas of fresh raspberries, rose water and candy floss followed by a seamless elegance on the palate that lingers till you take the next sip.
The grape is native to South Africa which is where this hybrid of Cinsault and Pinot Noir real comes into its own. The result here is an outstanding example of Pinotage, strong and powerful yet also plenty of elegance and bursting with fruit. So much going on in the glass for a wine of this price.
