Jean-Paul is still passionate and is training Julien, Isabelle’s husband, to take care of the vineyard.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn the heart of France, in the Cher county, extends a small wine-growing area of 15 kilometers by 10.\u003cbr\u003eIt can be represented in the form of an island with tormented relief, bordered up by the Loire to the East and dominated by the “piton de Sancerre”.\u003cbr\u003eGeological layers from very distant eras overlap and coexist at the same level. In some places, entire geological stages disappear. Other layers intertwine, giving rise to new eminences…\u003cbr\u003eIn Sancerre, the roots of a vine thus cross several layers of rock with vastly different characteristics. The oldest of which would have remained inaccessible without the original geological accident.\u003cbr\u003eThis wealth is shared by three main terroirs.
