Now run by the 6th Generation of the Manzanos family the winery combines the best traditions of this iconic land with the youthful flair of their young team: Borja Ripa, the winemaker and Victor Fernández Manzanos, the owner. From the heart of Rioja, Manzanos wines are modern interpretations of this classic DOCa and fantastic examples of modern Rioja.
250ha of vineyards are planted on clay-limestone soil at an average height of 400m above sea level. Meticulous attention to detail in the vineyards, coupled with the extreme climate, offer the perfect conditions for the production of great wines. Grapes are all hand-picked in early October.
Fermentation in stainless-steel tanks at controlled temperature with 3 weeks of maceration.

Intense red colour with garnet nuances. Expressive, aromatic with mature fruit and spices such as clove and white pepper ending in a well rounded, intense but very juicy wine with lovely integrated oak and tannins.
