The Château de Haute-Serre vineyards already existed in the Middle Ages and extended over nearly 1,000 hectares. They survived various religious wars and even featured on a gala menu in 1889. These are great, prestigious wines.
For four generations, wine has been flowing through the Vigouroux family’s veins. Owners of 147 hectares of vineyards in the Southwest France, the Vigouroux family are the specialists in France when it comes to producing and offering various styles of wines, from the plateau to the different terraces.
Very dark colour with crimson highlights and a wonderfully complex and powerful bouquet of morello cherry, blackcurrant, and spices. The freshness and fruitiness on the nose carry over beautifully to the palate, which has a long, silky aftertaste.
