The estate of Château Bousquet is located on a very nice terroir of 55 hectares, 40 km south-east of Bordeaux, in the Budos village.
The hillside is very gravellous at the top and clay-limestone at the bottom.
Full of energy and pzazz on the nose. Yet with real Sauvignon Blanc tension too. Rich yet with lots of acidity. Quite tense and with lots of green. Needs time.
Open and expressive. Oaky, with moderate weight of ripe, leesy fruit. Lemon and honey flavours and herbal Sauvignon underneath. Interesting. A bit dilute on the finish, but good nonetheless.Short to mid term.
