Each month we choose a special compilation of wines which have been highly commended by our customers. In the main they are wines which we source from boutique wineries and import ourselves with a few household names added. An opportunity to enjoy wines which you may not have tried before but which we know you will enjoy and will want to try again.

Pencarrow Sauvignon Blanc
Gold Medal International Wine Challenge Martinborough New Zealand
2 x 75cl Bottles
A ripe intensely flavoured Sauvignon Blanc from the martime climate of Martinborough. It is a very pale straw yellow in colour, with hues of green. On the nose it boasts a fresh bouquet of passionfruit, herbs, gooseberries, capsicums and limes. The palate is dry and medium full bodied with pungent notes of passionfruit and herbal. All in all it is a full, bold and youthfully racy Sauvignon Blanc.
Chateau X De Belliard Bordeaux

Rocca Antica Primitivo di Puglia Puglia, Italy

Mont Rocher Carignan
Languedoc, South France
2 x 75cl Bottles This red is the result of a project that was started by two MWs, Giles and Fergal, who wanted to create wines that were suitable for restaurants, hotels, bars and for use at home. No small task, but one with which they set about armed to the teeth, full of enthusiasm. In the south of the Languedoc they found a number of parcels of Carignan that looked overgrown and unloved. With their care and attention they have made a wine that fits their purpose - it is fresh with natural acidity making it excellent for food matching, and it has ripe fruit flavours that are ideal for sipping the wine in more informal settings.Producer Profile
