Country: South Africa Region: Stellenbosch Vintage: 2015
Description: These wines are dedicated to the people who have lived in the Bellingham Homestead over the last 300 years. With every sip, they tell the stories of these characters, their pioneering spirit, the intrigue of love and loss and how this culminated in an epic legacy of fine wine.
Tasting Note: When young this barrel fermented wine has butterscotch, spicy cloves and orange peel aromas on the nose. Layers of citrus and melon on the palate and finish with a citrus/lime freshness, but with a little age this is displaying lovely tangerine, honey and vanilla
Food Matches: Recommended with creamy pasta and chicken dishes, calamari or roast pork.
