The estate have recently invested very heavily in technologies (sorting table, destemmer, etc.) that help preserve the true characteristics of this varietal (Garnacha Tintorera). The result is a wine that displays a bright and lively color and fresh aromas.
Ageing Potential: Drinking very well now and for the next four to five years.
The nose shows pleasant notes of red fruit, balsamic and vanilla which owe in part to the careful ageing of 12 months in French and American oak, with and extra 12 months in bottle before release. Uncorking half an hour prior to drinking is advised to enjoy the real potential of this robust and subtle wine.
Food Matches: Beef, lamb, hard, stews and mature cheeses
