Country: France Region: Burgundy
Vintage:2010 Colour:White Style:Dry
On the palate this is a dry wine, with balanced refreshing acidity, excellent weight of ripe, buttery, juicy fruits, with hint of new oak showing on the palate. This is a classy wine, almost a pedigree, full of breeding and style - burgundy at it's best.
Ageing Potential:Drink Now
A wonderful, complex nose of orange peel and hazelnuts, leading to a lush palate of sweet apple, quince and marmalade, with a touch of butterscotch. It is all held together perfectly by a streak of fresh mineral acidity and has a rich lingering finish. It would compliment many fish and seafood dishes, but perhaps the best partner would be a plain roast chicken.
