A single bottle of Rivesaltes which is 40 years old in 2019. A cooperative of producers still find a shared passion in this movement started by Dom Brial, a French Benedictine monk. A movement greater than the sum of its parts.

Wine : The 1979 Grande Reserve Rivesaltes is a white wine produced in the Languedoc-Roussillon region in France, by Vignobles Dom Brial. This 1979 vintage comes from the Rivesaltes appellation.
Grapes : Grenache, Maccabeu
Ageing : Mastering by natural oxidation in barrels and bottling in 2013
Tasting : Nose with fruit notes like dried apricot and yellow peach jam, mixed with vanilla and coconut notes. Nice vintage, complex aromas from coffee to tobacco, even nuts and soft spices. Tasting is very fine, well balanced and nice freshness. Nuts aromas for the final notes too
