Another favourite of John Wilson's November 2009. " the kid brother of Hill of Grace one of Australia's true icon wines, this has nothing to be ashamed of, a beautiful explosion of perfectly ripe dark fruits and a hint of raisins and a minty, spicy edge. Velvet in an iron fist.
Ageing Potential:15 + Years
Very deep crimson/black in colour. A complex sweet, spicy nose showing lifted fragrant aromas of plum and blackberry with hints of sage and pepper supported by toasty oak. The intensely fruited palate exhibiting dark berries is complex and fleshy with great structure, velvety tannins and a long finish.
