Works with: Company Directors, Head of Operations, Warehouse team as well as additional support staff for the Christmas seasons
Contract Term: 6 month contract (initially) 5 days a week, Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week (flexibility for additional hours during December)
Job Purpose
The primary function of this role is to act as the main point of contact for all customers from when their order is placed until it is safely delivered. This role will process all orders for dispatch and will ensure that all customer queries are dealt with in a professional and speedy manner, and all issues logged and followed through to resolution.
Core Job Requirements
Responsible for full management of processing all orders up to dispatch (including any additions and amendments to customer details)
Responsible for prompt query resolution for all customers – phone / email
Responsible for managing and updating customer service issues log
Responsible for communication of any issues to various internal departments (sales / warehouse) and also to external partners (carriers / drivers)
Responsible for processing monthly carrier claims for damages / losses

Strong Customer Service skills required for this busy role
Excellent administrative and organisational skills
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and an ability to act in a professional and customer focused manner at all times
Completer / Finisher – follows through on tasks, queries etc to completion
Ability to prioritise workload and deliver to deadlines
Team player, flexible to the needs of the business and proactively uses own initiative
Experience
Previous experience in a Customer service role managing inbound calls and emails
Numerate and proficient in MS Excel and Outlook
Experience working in the food / wine / spirits industry desirable but not essential
Qualifications
Minimum second level education qualification required
