Ageing Potential: 6 Years
Dryish to taste and medium-bodied, the flavours of ripe yellow stonefruits and pears are gently luscious and rich, and stylishly subtle. Soft acidity adds to the weight and rounded mouthfeel. The palate follows a fine thread of dry phenolic textures that carry the wine to a long, dry finish with honeysuckle and spice nuances. This is a dry Pinot Gris with subtle stonefruit and honeysuckle flavours and a fine, dry-textured mouthfeel.
Fruit predominantly from the company’s Pencarrow vineyard fermented with 6% in seasoned oak to 13.1% alc. and 6 g/L RS, the wine aged 6 months on lees.
