The full-bodied palate is defined by precise, fine-grained tannins and a polished structure. The quality and depth are exceptional, delivering a quintessential Mondavi Reserve. Though approachable now, the tannin structure is still quite pronounced, so waiting is advised. The blend contains 7% each of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, aged for 21 months in 100% new French oak.
