When you taste this wine you realise that it is no surprise that it received a Gold Medal Award from Decanter. Made from a very special selection of grapes which are hand picked, laid out to dry , pressed and vinified according to the old traditional method. A big rich robust wine with a long lingering finish.

Tasting Note:
Deep, rich garnet colour. Intense aromas of dried figs and raisins overlaid with warm Christmas spices. This is a big wine beautifully structured. Warm concentrated flavours with chocolate and treacle. Weighty mouthfeel with lovely sweetness of fruit, leading to a very long finish. A real classic.
